26th Annual Key Event

Join us on Saturday, September 7, 2019 for a 1920s-themed celebration of The 26th Annual Key Event! 

The Key Event is a black-tie gala fundraiser supporting the Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty's Community Grants Fund, which provides support to local organizations serving West Chester and Liberty Township. Enjoy a cocktail party, live and silent auctions, basket raffle, and dinner followed by the best after-party around - The Key Event After Dark - featuring live music, dancing, late-night snacks, and more! 

100% of proceeds from The Key Event are reinvested into the community through grant awards. Last year, proceeds from The Key Event provided fund for grants to:

EDGE Teen Center:  $30,000 to purchase a new van for their Community Service Program

Junior Achievement of OKI Partners:  $10,000 for career-readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship programming in Lakota Local Schools

Boys & Girls Club of WCL:  $15,000 to implement the Club Learning Center

Lakota Local Schools (Hopewell Jr. PTSO):  $8400 to bring the ID Project - an interactive, interpersonal, relationahip/self-esteem building program -  to all 4 junior high schools

SELF Supports to Encourage Low-Income Families:  $16,264 to launch the Employer Resource Network

BSA Dan Beard Council:  $2500 for the Law Enforcement Exploring Program

Women Walking West:  $2500 to provide mentor training to help foreign-born women who have come to the U.S. for educational opportunity overcome barriers to success
